I had lots of funny titles going for this post last night. But to be honest, once the weather blew through it was a beautiful evening providing the perfect ambiance for the new bride and groom. And amazingly, despite the tornado watch, the palm trees falling over, the decorations flying out onto the golf green, the flowers blowing off the cake and oh, the power going out at the clubhouse with no back-up generators to keep the food warm for several hours- the bride remained calm and took it all with the perfect grace. What a great story this couple will have to pass on to their children someday.
But wait, let me go back a bit to the beginning which started off as a gorgeous puffy cloud day at The New Albany Links Golf Club.
The wedding theme was tropical with really unique flowers and table decorations made by the bride's talented mother and some by the bride herself.
Of course I had fun using some of the decorations for the ring shots...
Still great weather as the bride and groom began dressing and a quartet entertained friends and family.

The ceremony began as the dark clouds and gusts of wind blew in.
A little too gusty...
The wedding continued on and as you can see, it didn't spoil the festivities.
I really feel honored to have had a small role in this event. The couple and their guest were wonderful to be around and you could just feel the love and friendship in the air.
Wishing a happy every after to this bride and groom!
And a few more pics if you aren't too tired to look :)

....and into the sunset.
