It's about time I get some information on here about upcoming Holiday 2008 sessions huh?
I have lots to write but just a few short minutes right now to post so here is the condensed version.
Three Holiday Collection will be offered this year, with extra prints for your family members.
Each collection has something more exciting than the first! Most cards are printed on high quality card stock and are double sided. And, for the first time ever, I will be offering a high res digital file with the top package! I get so many requests for files and while I am a bit leery of releasing them (due to bad printers...etc.) I thought I would give it a try this season.
One Date for studio sessions: October 25th, half hour bookings beginning at 9:30am. Deposits are required to hold your spot.
Order deadline-One week from your gallery debut. No substitutions. {It is imperative that I keep a tight deadline schedule if you want your prints/cards back in a timely manner. Please adhere to the policies.}
Within the next few days I will be sending out an email with all the details, so keep a look out for this. If you want to be on this email list please send me your email address-click here. Last year studio times booked very quickly.

Thanks to everyone who has sent their well wishes to my sister and her family.
Day four now and the baby is doing great. Everyone else? Well, we are all a bit, ok a lot, sleep deprived. I had forgotten how hard these newborn days were, my memories of my boys have mostly left me. Probably a coping device so I would keep forging ahead, lol.
Though, not too tired to get out my camera! Of course I had to take photos. :)
So please let me introduce to you Gabriel Layne, weighing in at about 7 lbs. 13oz. (though probably now 10 lbs they way he has been eating!). Oh and I affectionately call him "ANGRY BABY"-- for he can go from a heavy sleep to a full-out wail in the blink of an eye. He is definitely going to keep his parents on their toes!
Oh and on a business note, I will get all emails and phone calls returned when I return to Ohio in a few days.

I know some of you are wondering where I have disappeared to? I promise I will be back to blogging very soon. For now, I am experiencing the joys and sleeplessness of those newborn days. Oh not mine! My sister had her first little guy and I came down to North Carolina to help out. So now my boys have a cousin to play with! We are all so excited about him being here and I promise to post some photos of him soon!

Wish I could say these hats are mine, but nope. Someone in their family has great fashion sense!
Photographing Miss N was a true treat. Such a sweet beautiful baby with soft, silky hair. She had had enough of me way before I was done taking photographs. Like a trooper though, she held out to the very end. And so did her parents who I am sure could use a few extra hours of sleep today.

Anyways, the reason for me posting this song is because it was swimming around in my head during this three month old's session. Really, I am not speaking out of turn, his own parents called him a little grump... but gosh, what an adorable one lol! Nothing out of the ordinary here, three and four month olds typically are a tough age to photograph.

Ok... So I am a bit corny with the titling on this post. It must be the lack of sleep from shooting an all day wedding yesterday in Marysville, then getting up this morning and heading back up to Marysville for a three month old session. I am beyond loopy from lack of enough R&R.

Introducing One80, though you may have heard them play before at cafe's, festivals and other local venues. The group needed some new promotional photos and was game for all my crazy ideas and locations. I didn't even get called back when I left Brenda a message to bring an old chair. :) We must have been on the same page. :)
I enlisted my trusty sidekick Kim to aid me in this shoot. We had lots of walking to do but soooo worth it. ... This session was truly a photographer's dream... lots of neat old buildings and some wonderful company.
